Keb
Also known as: Seb · Family: Egyptian gods · Role: god · First appears: The History of Creation — A
In the History of Creation A, Shu and Tefnut brought forth Keb—also named Seb—and Nut. At this earth, Keb and Nut brought forth Osiris, Heru-khent-an-maati, Set, Isis and Nephthys at one birth.
In the Legend of the Destruction of Mankind, Keb was appointed father to the serpents in the land “for ever.” In A Hymn to Osiris and a Legend of the Origin of Horus, he recognized Osiris as heir to the sovereignty of the Two Lands and commanded him to rule. On the Metternich stele, Keb gave Isis magical spells for driving away poison.
