Eurynome
First appears: Apollodorus, Library 1.2
🌐 Also appears in: The Metamorphoses of Ovid (as Eurynome)
In Apollodorus, Ocean and Tethys produced the Oceanids, including Eurynome, alongside Asia, Styx, Electra, Doris, Amphitrite, and Metis. Eurynome later bore Aglaia, Euphrosyne, and Thalia to Zeus; Hesiod likewise names her as the mother of the three Charites, including Aglaea and Thaleia.
Eurynome is also given as a possible mother of Ancaeus, Epochus, Amphidamas, and Iasus by Lycurgus, though the account names Cleophyle as an alternative. Asopus is likewise described by some as the child of Zeus and Eurynome.
