Aincel

Also known as: Ill-wishing · Family: Tuatha de Danaan · Role: son of Uar · First appears: The Fianna · Finn's Helpers · The Hound · Part 1

Aincel, one of the three sons of Uar, was the brother of Digbail and Espaid. After Caoilte killed their father in battle, the brothers demanded a blood-fine from Finn, who refused, saying that no one had paid one for a man killed in battle.

The three then inflicted continual harm on the Fianna while they sheltered at Slieve Mis. Later, a spell drove them into the sea, where they struck one another dead.
