Digbail
Also known as: Harm · Family: Tuatha de Danaan · Role: son of Uar · First appears: The Fianna · Finn's Helpers · The Hound · Part 1
Digbail, whose name was given as Harm, was one of the three sons of Uar, son of Indast of the Tuatha de Danaan. After Caoilte son of Ronan killed their father in battle, Digbail and his brothers Aincel and Espaid demanded blood-fine from Finn. Finn refused, saying, “No one before me ever gave a blood-fine for a man killed in battle, and I will not give it.”
At Slieve Mis, the three brothers inflicted continual harm on the Fianna while they sheltered there for a month and a quarter and a year. Later, a spell drove them into the sea, where they struck one another on the head; that was the last seen of Digbail, Aincel and Espaid.
