During Nauder’s time, Aghríras, brother of Afrásiyáb and son of Poshang, urged his father not to begin a war with Persia, warning that it could bring ruin to their country. Later, at Sístán, he accepted Zál’s offer of resources and support to place him on Persia’s throne, and set out from Raí.
When Afrásiyáb arrived at Túrán, Aghríras reproved him; Afrásiyáb then killed his brother. Grieving over the murder, Poshang refused to see Afrásiyáb.
