Haliartus

Role: adopted son of Athamas; son of Thersander · First appears: Book 9 · Chapter 34

At Orchomenus, Athamas adopted Haliartus and Coronus, the sons of Thersander, because he believed he had no surviving sons. Later, when Phrixus returned—or, in another account, when Presbon, his son, came—Haliartus and Coronus conceded Athamas’s kingdom to him and his descendants.
