Hadáhonige Asiké

Also known as: Mirage Boy · First appears: Origin Legend IV: Growth of the Navaho Nation · Part 2

In Origin Legend IV: Growth of the Navaho Nation · Part 2, Hadáhonige Asiké was the Mirage Boy, whom Yolkaí Estsán married to the girl made of corn. Hadáhonestid Atét and Hadáhonige Asiké were siblings, so Yolkaí Estsán explained that neither pair of siblings could marry one another, but that she “must do something for you all.”

After a time, Hadáhonige Asiké and the girl made of corn had two children, a boy and a girl. When the children were large enough to run around, their family moved from Hadzinaí, where they had lived four years, to Tse`lakaíia.
