Chedorlaomer

Chedorlaomer, king of Elam, was served by Bera, Birsha, Shinab, and Shemeber for twelve years, until they rebelled against him in the thirteenth year: “Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.” He went to war against Bera, Birsha, Shinab, and Shemeber, and the invading kings captured Lot in Sodom along with his goods.

At Hobah, Abraham defeated Chedorlaomer and the kings with him by night, pursuing them and recovering Lot, the people, and their goods. Chedorlaomer was slain in that defeat, after which the king of Sodom met Abraham at the valley of Shaveh.
