Yéitso

Family: the anáye (alien gods) · Role: the tallest and fiercest of the alien gods · First appears: Origin Legend III: The War Gods · Part 2

In Origin Legend III: The War Gods · Part 2, Yéitso came to the women’s dwelling seeking the boys, saying, “I would rather eat boys. Where are your boys?” He left after being deceived by the tracks. In Part 5 at Tósato, he hurled lightning bolts at [[Nayénezgani]] and [[Tobadzistsíni]], who dodged them with their rainbow. Tsóhanoai said Yéitso was his son and would help the brothers kill him. When Yéitso drew a fifth bolt, lightning descended on his head, making him reel but not fall; Nayénezgani then struck him with four lightning arrows, and he fell and moved no more. In Part 6 at Dsilnáotil, the brothers took Yéitso’s broken arrows and scalp home and hid them in the bushes.
