Hemlock Bows's wife (Chapter 047)
Role: wife and mother · First appears: The Hunter And His Faithless Wife
One day, Hemlock Bows and his wife had a son, whom his father was fond of; three years later, they had a daughter. After the birth of her second child, she “seemed to care no more for her husband.” Later, Hemlock Bows discovered her meeting and kissing another man.
She beat Hemlock Bows, put boy (Chapter 047) and little girl (Chapter 047) out in the cold and snow, burned down the cabin, and left. Some time afterward, they heard she was going to marry another man. The boy rescued his father, sister, and dog, then set fire to the cabin where his mother was; she died inside.
