Caius
Family: Britons · Role: sewer · First appears: Book IX 11
Caius, a sewer among the Britons, was granted the province of Andegavia by Arthur at Paris after nine years, becoming “the province of Andegavia upon Caius, his sewer.” The next night, Arthur took Caius and Bedver privately from the camp and hastened towards the mountain.
At Suesia, Caius and Bedver commanded the first of the battle divisions as Arthur arranged his army. Later, in the fighting against Sertorius, Caius was caught in the disorder caused by the king of Libya’s forces; while trying to avenge Bedver’s death, he was surrounded by the Median troops and “there received a mortal wound”.
