Role: king · First appears: The Gods · Lugh of the Long Hand · The Sons of Tuireann · Part 6
Easal, king of Ioruaidh, agreed with his people to give his pigs to Brian, Iuchar and Iucharba, the sons of Tuireann. That night he welcomed them to his house, where they were given food, drink and beds.
At Ioruaidh, Easal accompanied the three to persuade its king, his son-in-law, to give them the whelp: “a daughter of mine is his wife”. The whelp was given to the sons of Tuireann, the king was released, and peace was made.
