In Section 19, Kâ´wimosa summoned his youngest son, Síweluhsiwa, and Síwiluhsitsa and sent them eastward. In Section 20, Síweluhsiwa became crazed with love for his sister; she fled from him, and made a deep water divide the mountain. “Into the nether mountain the pair fled--not apart--but together,” and thereafter they dwelt in its caves, apart from other people.
In Section 21, Síweluhsiwa and Síwiluhsitsa, changed to hideousness, abode together witlessly. “In time there were born to these twain, twelve children,” the Kâ´yemäshi, including Pékwina, Pí‘hlan Shíwani, Éshotsi, Muíyapona, Pótsoki, Ná‘hläshi, Ítseposa, K‘yä´lutsi, Tsa‘hläshi, and the man-woman of the Kâ´kâ. In Section 30, their brother K‘yäk´lu learned from the Kâ´yemäshi what had happened to their parents and the evils that had befallen his people. In Section 33, Síweluhsiwa and his children cajoled the silent K‘yäk´lu to sit in the litter.
