Copyright Policy

1. Our posture

Rho Cloud is a neutral hosting platform. We do not pre-screen user content; we respond to proper notices quickly. Verified infringing content is removed, not hidden.

2. Reporting infringement (DMCA notice)

Email dmca@rho.md or use the Report link in any document footer. A proper notice under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) must include:

• identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
• the rho.md URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material;
• your contact information (name, address, email);
• a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act for the owner;
• your physical or electronic signature.

3. What happens next

We aim to act on valid notices within 48 hours: the content is removed and both parties are notified. The uploader may submit a counter-notice under §512(g); if we receive a proper counter-notice we will forward it to the reporter and may restore the content in 10–14 business days unless the reporter files a court action.

4. Repeat infringers

Three effective takedowns terminate an account's publishing rights and unpublish all of its public content (17 U.S.C. §512(i)).

5. Other jurisdictions

Complaints under EU (DSM/E-Commerce), Chinese (信息网络传播权保护条例), or other national law may use the same channel: dmca@rho.md. Identify the legal basis and the URLs; the same removal pipeline applies.
