In Chapter I · Tiki--The Ancestor of Mankind, Tiki gave life to Marikoriko, also called Twilight, by chanting the sacred incantation with the help of the Shimmering Heat and the Echo. She became Tiki’s first wife, and many children were born to them, including their daughter Hine-kau-ata-ata, the Floating Shadow, and the sons the Power of Speech and the Power of Growth.
