Sayen

Role: brave man · First appears: Tale 59

In Tale 59, the alan found an afterbirth outside Benben and made it into a baby named Sayen. He wanted to marry Danipán of Kadalayapan, but she refused; when she hid, Sayen married her servant Laey, believing she was Danipán, and they had a baby.

When Sayen learned the truth, he went to Kadalayapan and killed many people. At Benben, he spat on some of the dead and brought them back to life, then married Danipán and took her there. He killed the komau. After fighting Kaboniyan to a standstill, Sayen heard him say, “you are a brave man”; they became friends and went to fight in many towns. Sayen later entered a trap under a house during a fight, and the people caught and killed him.
