After the boy found her at the rocks, his sister told him that a bad man was keeping her there and warned him to leave before the man killed him. She refused to go with him at first, but the next morning they escaped together by canoe, and the boy killed the man pursuing them.

The boy brought his recovered sister to the skeleton, then they returned home to their uncle. After ten years of mourning for his nephew, their uncle was happy to see the boy return.
