Jambres
Family: Ethiopia · Role: general; son of Balaam · First appears: The Flight
During The Flight, Jambres and his brother Jannes were left behind by their father, Balaam, to guard the capital and oversee those remaining at home. After Balaam seized the throne, Jambres and Jannes were made generals; Balaam and his sons then besieged the city, preventing anyone from entering or leaving.
When the city fell, Balaam fled to Egypt with Jambres, Jannes, and his eight brothers. Later, at Pharaoh’s palace, Aaron’s rod became a serpent before Pharaoh and the Egyptian magicians, then swallowed their rods without growing larger.
