Prochorus

Family: disciples · Role: chosen servant · First appears: Acts 6

In Acts 6, in those days, Prochorus was chosen as one of seven men to oversee the daily ministration, alongside Stephen, Philip, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas. The account names Stephen as “a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost” and identifies Nicolas as a proselyte of Antioch.
