Dolimáman
Role: Wadagan's wife · First appears: Tale 24
In Tale 24, Dolimáman is Wadagan’s wife. In the middle of the day, he pricked her finger with a thorn, and Kanag—called Kanag Kabagbagowan in this tale—popped out. Whenever Dolimáman bathed him, she used her power to make him grow rapidly.
Not long after, Wadagan falsely told Dolimáman that he did not know where Kanag was. She found him with Alokotán, who said she had found the boy on the river after his father put him there and had taken him in so someone could inherit her things. At Nagbotobotán, Dolimáman chose to stay with Alokotán rather than return to Wadagan: “my husband Wadagan does not like us.” Magic moved their golden house from Kadalayapan to Nagbotobotán; Wadagan returned home, while Dolimáman and Kanag stayed there with Dagoláyan.
