Izates

Family: Adiabene · Role: king · First appears: Book IV, Chapter 9

Izates is the king of Adiabene. In Book IV, Chapter 9, Grapte is described as his relation and as the builder of a royal palace; in Book V, Chapter 4, Helena is listed in a parent relationship with him, in a passage mentioning the sepulchral caverns of the kings and a monument.
