Asibowan

Role: mother of Binaklingan · First appears: Tale 4 · Part 1

In Tale 4 · Part 1, Aponitolau stayed with Asibowan at Gegenawan for nine months. Asibowan became pregnant and gave birth to their daughter, Binaklingan, who grew one span every time Asibowan bathed her, through magic. Asibowan told Aponitolau to return home, marry a woman, and make Sayang so she could come to Kadalayapan; she stayed behind, and later had a golden house built for Binaklingan and sent it by magic to Kadalayapan. Aponitolau revealed there that Binaklingan was his daughter and that Asibowan had not wanted to come. Asibowan said she was related to Kaboniyan.
