Dawinisan

Role: young girl · First appears: Tale 28

In Tale 28, Asbinan asked Alokotán to arrange his marriage to Dawinisan, but Dawinisan said she was not ready. When Asbinan pretended to be ill, Dawinisan went to him and rubbed his stomach; he sat up. They later tested their betel-nut quids, which showed that it was good for them to marry. Dawinisan agreed if her family’s requested price was paid. Her mother asked for nine balaua filled with golden deer and specified jars, and Alokotán used magic to provide them. Dawinisan’s parents and relatives then agreed that she and Asbinan could marry.
