Blanchefleur

Family: Lyonesse · Role: queen and mother of Tristan · First appears: Chapter 1 · Part 1

Long ago, Rivalen married Blanchefleur at Tintagel Minster: “He wedded her in Tintagel Minster.” She was King Mark’s sister, and was placed in the ward of Rohalt, his marshal. On the fourth day, she gave birth to Tristan, named him for her sadness, and died immediately after kissing him.
