Aphidas
Family: Arcadians · Role: son of Arcas · First appears: Book 8 · Chapter 4
Aphidas was a son of Arcas, alongside his brothers Azan and Elatus. When the three legitimate sons grew up, Arcas divided Arcadia among them. Autolaus was a son of Arcas born earlier, and a bastard.
Aphidas had a son, Aleus, who, according to tradition, founded Alea at Athene. He also had a daughter, Leucone, from whom Leuconius was named. Another account says that Antiphanes of Sicyon was the mother of Elatus, Aphidas, and Erasus.
