Waupee's wife

Family: The Star Family · Role: daughter of one the stars · First appears: The Star Family; or, the Celestial Sisters

One day in The Star Family; or, the Celestial Sisters, Waupee tried to seize the youngest of the star sisters, but she and her sisters escaped to the sky. The next day, disguised as a mouse, he captured her; they became husband and wife, and Winter and summer passed before they had a son.

One day, while Waupee was away, his wife returned to the stars with their son. Her father sent the boy down with a message asking Waupee to come live with them. When she and her son descended to the enchanted spot, Waupee reunited with them. When all was ready, the three went up to the starry plains with gifts from earth; there, she and Waupee and their son became white hawks and descended to earth.
