At Tegea, while Lacedæmon and Tegea were at peace, Lichas discovered Orestes’ bones in a blacksmith’s shop. Later, when the Lacedæmonians were excluded from the games, he entered the chariot-race as a Theban and bound the victorious charioteer with a riband.
