Ephron

Family: Hittite · Role: seller · First appears: Genesis 23

Ephron, a Hittite seller, is identified in Genesis 23 as the son of Zohar, and Abraham pays him four hundred shekels for the field and cave at Machpelah as a burial possession: “And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver.”
