Laphaes

Family: human · Role: sculptor · First appears: Book 2 · Chapter 10

In Book 2, Chapter 10, Laphaes of Phlius is named as the maker of an old wooden statue of Hercules at Pædize. Later, in Chapter 21, he was expelled as king and fled to Sparta; after the Argives won the battle, they slew him and most of the Lacedæmonians.
