Argus

First appears: The Great Eoiae

In The Great Eoiae, Iophossa bore Argus and his brothers Phrontis, Melas, and Cytisorus; Argus is also identified as a child of Phrixus. Argus and Perimele were parents of Magnes, who lived in Thessaly, where Magnes had a son, Hymenaeus.

In Aegimius, Hera set Argus to watch Io, and Hermes slew him.
