In Nati'nesthani · Part 5, Nati'nesthani’s pet turkey found him after following him down the San Juan River. It approached him from the east, circled sunwise while approaching and retreating, then returned from the east and allowed him to embrace it.

In Part 6, the turkey gave Nati'nesthani corn and other seeds for his farm. In Part 9, it flew east, and he never saw it again.
