the man (Myth 78)
Role: a man in Nottely town · First appears: Myth 78 · The Nûñne'hi and Other Spirit Folk · Part 1
In Myth 78, at Nottely town, he went with the stranger up the river to his house for dinner. The stranger’s wife and the others welcomed him, and he ate, played with the other children, and slept there that night.
In the morning, the stranger guided him along a trail toward home, then returned to the house. When he reached the river trail, people ran to meet him, fearing he had drowned or been killed in the mountains. His mother told him that the people he had visited were the Nûñne'hi, and that where he had seen a house there were only trees and rocks.
